Monroe Models 9301 – Overhead Gantry Crane – N Scale Kit

Every railroad needs an overhead crane to lift heavy objects from railcars to trucks for delivery to its final destination.  They are used for lifting quarry stones, pre cast concrete parts, steel coils, steel rails, large crates or anything that wouldn’t roll off a flatcar or gondola.  This gantry crane model is created from an actual prototype erected in the 30’s and still stands to this day.    What’s in the kit?  Six white metal (lead free) parts and two cast resin parts for the concrete foundation.  Full assembly instructions and cable for the hook.  You will need a small file, “super” glue, and modeling paints for assembly and finishing of the kit.  The scenery, figures, vehicles and trees are not included.    size: 2-3/4€L x 1-1/2€W x 2-1/4€H
